| Prevention: | Avoid or minimize the use of alcohol. Treat known alcoholism appropriately. Obtain prompt medical treatment for symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Also, look into alcohol detoxification or "detox" centers in your area, as well as alcohol rehabilitation centers or "rehab" facilities.
