| DIABETES SELF-MANAGEMENT CLASSES | |
| The Diabetes Management Center offers diabetes self-management classes to provide you and your family with the latest and most important findings and techniques to keep you healthy. Presented by a registered nurse and a registered dietitian, our classes address everything you need to stay healthy from head to toe, including: the basics of diabetes; nutrition and meal planning; medicines and diabetes; physical activity; diabetes specific health problems; monitoring your blood sugar; preventing future health problems and much more.
An appointment needs to be scheduled with the nurse educator for an assessment prior to attending classes. Individual counseling is also available.
2010 Class ScheduleAll day classes are held in a group setting at the Nesbitt Medical Arts Building (NMAB) Auditorium, 534 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston. Evening classes are held at the Nesbitt Memorial Medical Center (NMMC) Board Room, Ground Floor, 562 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston. Saturday classes are held at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion (TPS) Auditorium, 468 Northampton Street, Edwardsville.
