Overview
The School of Nuclear Medicine Technology is a 12-month program based at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital which prepares students both clinically and theoretically for careers in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

A maximum of three students are accepted into the program each year. Graduating students acquire a solid education and technical knowledge of nuclear medicine. Specifically, the program is designed to provide students with over 1900 contact hours of combined theory and clinical experience. The didactic portion of the program is distributed over the course of the year.

Graduation is held in August for students successfully completing the program. Certificates of Completion and school pins are awarded and a special Theory and Clinical Award is presented to the student who attains the highest class average.


Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed high school or the equivalent, and meet one of the requirements listed below:
A grade of C+ (2.5 GPA) in all major subjects is considered minimal for acceptance to the program.

Tuition: $8,000/year
