WYOMING VALLEY HEALTH CARE SYSTEM/UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON SCHOOL OF NURSE ANESTHESIA HONORS RECENT GRADUATES

Wyoming Valley Health Care System/University of Scranton School of Nurse Anesthesia recently honored its newest graduates during the School’s graduation ceremony held on Friday, August 28 at the University of Scranton DeNaples Center.

An affiliation between the University of Scranton and Wyoming Valley Health Care System, the School of Nurse Anesthesia educates professional Advanced Practice Nurses who are among the best in the field of Nurse Anesthesia. The School provides anesthesia theory along with clinical practice and prepares nurses to develop advanced clinical skills and strategies in support of the area of anesthesia.

Graduates of this 25-month program are immediately eligible for national certification as a CRNA through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

The School has been fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) since its inception in 1970, and received its latest 10 year accreditation in 2003.
